Year 7, or is it 8 with the J Family {Connecticut-Long Island Family Photographer}

This session is the first of three upcoming families that are all related and have been with me since I first opened my business. They truly feel like family. I can't wait to see them every year and marvel at how much they have grown over the years.

It started with big brother P when he was the only child. We met in Central Park and the session was magical. Then came the twins but unfortunately they had moved south because of a company transfer. Happily that didn't last and they were back before the twins turned two. Then came baby H. Oh baby H is such a charmer and isn't a baby anymore!

Mom and Dad, thanks so much for allowing me to spend this time with you over the years and create memories for you and I both to treasure forever.

And, thanks a million for the beautiful birthday flowers!

What's it all about Alfie {Long Island's Dog Photographer}

Many of you will be too young to get the reference above. Alfie was a 1966 movie starring Michael Cain as a womanizer named Alfie. A song by the same name was recorded for the soundtrack written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and sung by British singer Callie Black. Love that song!

This little Alfie is a lady killer as well! Such a looker with his Dalmatian-spotted coat, different than any poodle I have ever seen. His mom calls him the tie dye poodle.

The Beautiful H Family {Long Island's Family Photographer}

The best part of my job is that we get to meet some of the most wonderful people. The H family fits perfectly into that description. I adore them. They are kind, loving to one another and just plain delightful to be around.

As usual, this family had chosen the perfect clothing for an exciting family portrait. This is a perfect example of using color effectively. The navy, green, orange and white provided the perfect pop without distracting from the family. Nice job mom! Of course you know what they say about assuming! Maybe dad chose the wardrobe. :)

There is nothing like a newborn baby. I love everything about them! This beautiful brand new human couldn't wait to get here. She surprised mom and dad by coming almost 5 weeks early. She was ready. Look at her, she is perfect!

This little girl is the first child and grandchild in her family. Of course, there is no spoiling going on here now or in the future. Yeah, right...

Here are two perfect examples of heartbreakers in the making. These boys are breathtakingly handsome. I love working with kids this age. The spirit and new found independence of the three year old and the seven year old who is now a boy, not a little boy anymore. A wonderful age to capture so it is not forgotten.

We finally found a beautiful day for our thrice rescheduled session! The weather had not been the P family's friend until this beautiful late July day. It was beautiful day to be outdoors with these three beauties.

As far as a perfect example for what to wear for a session, you can't do much better than this! Nice job mom!
