Thank goodness Miss A is a pro and handled the really chilly overcast weather like a champ. The next day of course was warm and beautiful but we had the day we had and managed to create some beautiful images. Thanks to A for being such a good sport!
She has had quite a few years of training! We have been doing annual photography sessions since she was 16 months old and she is now 10! Where does the time go? She is growing up from a beautiful baby to a beautiful young girl. I miss you LB!
Olive and I are on day 5 of our annual pilgramage to Louisiana to work with clients and spend some R and R with family and friends. It has been wonderful to escape the endless winter we have experienced in the Northeast.
Today we met one of my dear friends from high school at the dog park that she takes her beautiful Labradoodles. The big beautiful boy splashing around in the pool is her fun loving Blue. I wish we had a dog park in our community at home. It is wonderful to watch so many dogs off leash, running, playing and just being dogs. The Forest Community Park was terrific.
Here are a few of the new friends that Olive made today. The tiny Chihuahua is Gemma aka "Little Bit". I fell totally in love with her. She was so tiny that little Olive seemed like a giant. The very poised Schnauzer is Tootsie. One of the most photogenic dogs I have ever met!
I think we will be making another trip here before we head home.
Isn't it amazing how quickly a puppy can make you happy? Steph and I had the pleasure of having this sweet Yorkie in the studio. We absolutely adored all of his expressions, his long legs and his great hair. He has beautiful coloring! He also has this little tail that wiggles a mile a minute. We could not stop smiling.

The images you see here are from a shoot done last week to mark the milestone 5th birthday of this beautiful big sister. That couldn’t wait until it was warmer outside.Remember our motto, …life as it happens! Sessions at this time of year are amazing, from the incomparable light of winter to the early days of spring—it’s a great time to capture great images of your children. It makes you appreciate these cold wintery days! Sessions that take place at your home are especially lovely now because I am able to capture your children where they’re most comfortable and in their own environment. And, of course, we can make 5-10 minute visits outside to take those wonderful snowy pictures. As the winter turns into spring, we’re able to incorporate the outdoors even more.

Reserve your winter/spring Signature Session by February 28th (to take place at your home or the studio before May 31 2014) and a portion of your session fee will magically transform into a print credit. When, you schedule your session will determine the amount of your bonus.
February: sessions booked to take place by the end of this month, will receive $300 of their $350 session fee as a print credit when your session order is placed.
March: receive $250 of your $350 session fee as a print credit.
April or May: receive $200 of your $350 session fee as a print credit. This print credit can apply to anything you wish to order from your session—just like cash.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing our first ever bunny in the studio. His name is Malf and he happens to be my best friend's little fur ball. Malf is a Netherland dwarf bunny and just turned one. He was an absolute pleasure to have and we hope he visits again soon!
